It's a Frigidaire...but can anyone tell me what year? All I can say is, I don't want to buy any more appliances from anyone's basement. I have a feeling that if I want the good stuff though, I'll have to.

YES! Dishwasher!

If you want me in your house Wes, you NEED a dishwasher. This is non-negociable! Why wash dishes by hand when you can have a glorious vintage machine to do it for you? I'm thinking a Kitchenaid KD12 or so ought to do the job quite nicely.

See if you can get Robert to refurbish one for you just like his, complete with the window and light. For a custom color, howzabout Jadite green? If not that, howzabout Maytag agitator turquoise? Noting announces clean and sexy like Maytag agitator turquoise!

Mmmm... Turquoise!

Beautiful fridge and it looks like it will clean up nicely and without much effort. So it didn't have any crisper drawers? Looks like maybe it did at one time. And what's up with that half shelf up high with the sheer drop down to the next one? Maybe a Frigidaire expert can advise?

Wes. My grandmother in PA. had the same refrigerator. Now I was born in 1951, and remember this refrigerator growing up. SO....i would have to say lat 40's or early 50's

Hope this helps.

I think the half shelf was for dairy stuff, like eggs, and the sheer drop below was to allow space for milk bottles. My idiot brother had one just like this in the house he bought in 1989 (it had been the original owner's) and he just chucked it out, even though it still worked perfectly!!
This one really is a beauty - enjoy it!!
