From what I gather it`s mainly Alcohol Ethoxylates (a nonionic surfactant) commonly found in rinse aid and DW detergents that have the potential to destroy the protective layer in gut.

Using All in One tablets I already have the rinse aid dispenser turned down to a very low setting but now I think I will more often rinse out at least glasses and cups before I use them, which is kind of piontless of course as long as you still consume the stuff from plates or whatever else.
Is vinegar an option? I heard it can destroy gaskets of the rinse aid dispenser.
