This looks so interesting but who knows if it will ever come to America. And again servicing may be a issue. Let me see if I can attach. Some very interesting reading.

Follow the link to Panasonic, click on the "Asia" part of the map, from the menu select "Singapore", and that site gives you the features/specs in english!

I have always wondered why someone does not make a heat pump dryer. It seems very logical to me. I think I posted about this a while back.

That machine's extremely similar in terms of specifications to many similar spec'd European models.

Hoover Vision
Electrolux (the 7KG+ range)
AEG (large capacity)
Hotpoint-Aritson Aqualtis
etc

Only difference being that machine offers a 900rpm spin which is really slow by modern standards here. The Hoover Vision for example does an 8KG load and still does a 1600rpm spin!

1400-1600RPM would be pretty normal, even on large capacity machines.

I could really take/leave most washer dryers. They generally are completely disasterous as dryers. Low capacity, slow etc.

And I don't like tilted drums either. You can get as much accessibility with a high monted drum. Rather than tilted.

I´m in love!!!!!

It is beautiful!!! I would love to see one working. I would better own one and stick it in the closet. Does any body know if it´s DD or Belt driven pulley?

What is a condenser dryer?

That article's graphs make very little sense.

They have the raw numbers of dryers sold in each EU country and don't really take in to account the population.

E.g. the UK has 58million people, Ireland has about 4 :)
So, the UK and IE figures are not indicative of lesser use of dryers, just fewer people.
Same applies to other figures.

The saturation level makes more sense!
