New to me GE 40" range. What year is my range? Owners Manual?

My GE range is model # JCP68 0W1WH and Serial # LD227446G
I would love to know when it was made and if anyone has an owner's manual or source for a copy.

Based on just the model number, it's likely a 1962 model.   Can you post a picture of the range, too, please?

LD. L stands for month of June. D can be 2014,2002,1990,1978,1947. Judging by the model number I'd say 1978 but I'm no expert. A picture would help.

It came to me with a single burner griddle and temperature probe. No paperwork though

I have the same range, and was wondering (as this is a rather old thread) if you managed to get some information on it. I need to replace my burner elements and need some help.
