New Vacuum

Well my Kirby G3 gave up the ghost so I needed a new vacuum cleaner. Originally I was going to get a DC24 but spotted the AEG Nimble online so went to check it out today. After having a go at it in the shop I decided it was more substantial than the DC24.

I must say having used it for most of the afternoon I am impressed. It is very well built, cleans well and is very quiet. I love the crevice/upholstery nozzle.

Is the top filter a washable sponge filter. Any chance of showing a picture of the filter system Paul.

It looks like the Electrolux badged Eureka. I see models similar to that here at Sears with the Electrolux nametag but Eureka style.I used to like the older model Eurekas when they looked similar to the original Hoover uprights but, since they went on board with WCI/ Electrolux of Sweeden, I haven't been as fond of their style,craftsmanship or poor repair track records.I prefer the Kirby, Rainbow, and Sanitary over the rest.i now own 7 Kirbies and 5 Rainbows.

The "old style" Eureka's are still availble new as Sanitaires, since Elux owns Eureka/Sanitaire.
