With dad arriving Sat for the holidays, I finally got around to washing the bedding.
I used Sears Ultra Plus on twin bedding from Lands End.
Of interest, it has been roughly 3 years since dad visited here and admittedly, I did not wash the bedding right after he left but rather used the spare bed as a catch all for boxes, pistol ammo, and other stuff. The last time this bedding was washed, it was in the GE.
Naturally, I was very amazed upon initial agitation that suds formed even BEFORE I added my 1 1/2 scoops of Sears! Whoa! Where did that come from?
Once the Sears detergent was added, I got some suds as noted but not enough to warrant a second rinse.
As one might expect, the bedding smelled dusty but after the Speed Queen did its thing with some help from Sears detergent, everything is nice and fresh and clean
