New Whirlpool Commerical TL washer wash action

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

The Maytag is speced at 3.5 cu. ft. tub  where as the WP is 2.9.  The WP had no spray rinse during the spin at all on either spin.  The Maytag, on the equivalent cycle, did do a spray rinse spin at the end of the spin (with the pump still on) right before it began filling for the rinse.  On this comparable cycle, I found it interesting they both switched from shorter stroke to longer stroke every 2 minutes on the wash and 1 minute each on the rinse.  The Maytag does give a nod to the residential market with extra rinse and soak options.

Like this machine,too-is this version available as a residential model? This machine fills with water-really!Has a REAL agitator instead of one of those rub a dub-wear impellor things-and real base blades on the agitator instead of "bumps"!and of course this washer does BETTER than that new SQ.See REAL agitation and circulation here-in the wash cycle you could see the dirt being removed from the pants-since the water was turning brown. This could be a GOOD new machine.

Agree with most of the things said here. I for one want this machine. It reminds me of a BOL galaxy. I've always had a soft spot of that porcelain tub too. If Sears was still in good business I could see this being a single knob wonder, or at least thats a wish :)

Even the straight vane agitator turns the load over well. Looks like a very good machine. I'm interested to see how it does on those low water cycles.

I wonder if it has the same construction as the Maytag underneath.  Maybe the smaller tub to account for the fact that some people will ridiculously overload it in a commercial environment and it has harder job.
