Thank you Steve, Pat and Peter for the wonderful afternoon. Today we got together at Steve's for a small Wash- In complete with a fabulous lunch and a great time with his machines. I so look forward to the pics! And also the next wash-in! You guys are great and I'm so glad I have ppl to talk to and that "get me"! Next time i'll certainly stay longer and do another load....

Matt- It was great to meet you and share a day doing what we do best- laundry machines and related chitter-chatter. I, for one, "get you" Mr. Matt. The day was a huge success, IMHO. absolutely huge.

And thanks to Pat/Agiflow again, for coming all the way from south Jersey. And you too Peteski50 for coming down from Westchester County! Hope you enjoyed the walk on Jones beach!

How much fun was it to lift up Gennaro's top and peek inside at his annulus (Is that right Austin?) while spinning. HUGE gap between inner and outer tubs. WATER-HOG!!! oink,oink

I mean.... how can it be a bad day when you get liquid shot up into your face? The Easy and the GE were guilty!

Just keeps getting better

This was such an activity filled weekend. Thanks to our host with the most Steve.

Matt it was really great meeting you and i hope to see you again soon.

Peter it is always a pleasure to get together with you. I know we both said we wished the day would not end. Hopefully we can get together again real soon.

Toggle/Steve. I appreciate your generosity and making us feel so at home. Lunch and dinner were delicious.

That easy whirldry is such a cool little machine. Just have to remember to do a partial spindrain ;-) Jones beach was pretty nice and what a great time we had just walking and talking.

Thank you boys for the good time and the camaraderie. Can't wait for the pictures of this little get together.

Pete was suffering badly on this day, and I want to thank him for coming to visit.

"O" thermostat is for OIL- oil heated hot water baseboard heat. (more economical compared to electric, in this market).

"E" thermostat (ok a rectangle really) is for ELECTRIC baseboard heat. (Backup should boiler stop when I am away in winter.)

Looks like ya'll had fun! Steve, you have some fun machines and a growing collection! Were you actually able to look in the GE's annulus (LOL) with the top off during spin-drain without a flood?

ooopps. wrong basket.

bad bad bad photographer.

But at least you CAN see the cable and pulley [in the front, just behind the outer cabinet]that holds the transmission and motor (which move with the inner tub) up.

The fixed outer tub can be seen, complete with gasket at top that seals to top of washer, when it is in the regular lowered / closed postion.

Becasse any overflow can't get out due to this gasket, there is an oveflow tube on the left side of the machine that diverts any spillage / overfow away from the electrical components.

Wow...I always wondered what purpose the cable/pulley system served! I thought it was only on the Dispensall to control the diverter...

Apparently my trough *AHEM* was not all the way in, nor was it in the right position.

The black fill water flume is on the left, sorta hanging over the clothing spill-out protection guard meshy-thing at the top of the inner basket.

In front of that, barely visible in black with white coating of some type, is the spill-protection nub that the overflow attaches to.

There is a huge water-wasting gap between the inner (perofrated) grey-speckled basket and outer (solid) black-in-color tub.

Mr. Agilow on left. Mr. Toggle's big bulging bicep and masucline hairy arms visible. (I luv me hunny, who do you love?). HMM those palms AWFULLY rosy....... ah dishpan hands you say...sure sure.

Final spin about to start. Matt ready to push in the timer, when the water shoots out from the cetrifugal force of the spin.

Notice the Filter-flo system and pan has made a nice litle round "turd-ette" with lint accumulated from wash, then spun during spin.

Time to try the "EASY Whirldry" table-top machine.

Notice the antque kitchen-match holder on the wall in black. [strike on side of box] It was grandma's from the 50's. Of, course in the "It-has-to be fabulous-and-chic-and-modern" days of my youth it got painted black to be "cool" MISTAKE!

Ok,now Pete had to get up (even thogh he was in pain) and come over to see what was going on.

We all laughed SO HARD, and somehow knew we were going to be friends for a long time.

Details:

Pork-loin roast for dinner was in electric oven.

Today's version of kitchen matches was hanging, Scripto butane lighter with long nose in aqua color.
(Yes people there is a gas stove (not pictured) next to the elctric one! LOL

Greek coffee pot (hanging, in black) "BRIKI" just in case a fortune-telling cofee-cup-reading relative (originally from the old coutry) shows up!

Electic baseboard heater visible, as are A/C vents top and bottom.
