I was given a electrolux (sp?) Black gas Range by a neighbor remodeling, but the guys that removed most other things took the 5 burners and 3 top grills. I think they were pissed they didn't get the range and haven't returned the parts after 3 calls I made. I did a parts search and prices are nuts as I thought they would be, for everything looking at 5-600 bucks if not more. Its been over two weeks so doubt the parts will be returned even though I said I'd pay for gas if its out of his way but no reply stating he wanted more money?
Its a clean looking gas range with convection oven and many features but I just wanted it for a rental so not sure what to do. Is there a way to find newer range parts cheap like from damaged ranges or should I try selling the range as is with missing parts, maybe a dealer might want? Any thoughts. Spending more than $150 isn't an option. Might end up as scrap metal
