I've never heard of Counter Craft.  Was it a retailer's house brand (like is that a small Sears logo?) or sold through non-traditional outlets?  Sure looks like a Sunbeam to me.  I sort of get a pre-bar code vibe from this thing.

It's definitely a Sears aka Sunbeam.. I don't recall the Counter Craft logo either.  Over the years they've had Sears Kenmore mixers made by just about every manufacturer. 
 
I seem to remember the 'Counter Craft' brand in the late 70s and early 80s.  I think it was positioned as a premium brand by Sears.  Dang,  I wish I had some of the old Sears catalogs from the era still.... 
 
<span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;">Sort of fits right in with the way things are advertised today. You go to the drive-thru and your burger isn't grilled or flame-broiled...its "crafted". Very silly.</span>
