Hi CHUCK

The Deep Power Rinse is a gimmick

I got so exciteed too, woo woo what is this cool thing--I can't wait!! Maybe the wringer is going to force jets of water through the clothes as they pass thru the rollers, but no such luck.

You drain the soapy water, refill with clear rinse water, start the agitator, add the washed and wrung laundry, place the gooseneck hose over the wash tub, and engage the pump. I'm laughing out loud right now. THAT is the deep power rinse. Oh well, it's a great machine whether you use the DEEP POWER RINSE direct from the Vatican ex cathedra or not .

Hello guys I"ll do the same thing with my maytag wringer, after washing & wringing i'll feel the tub up almost to the the top with water and drain as it's agitating and fill again and start the whole process over again. I"ll do that about three times and last rinse with softner & blueing for whites. I guess you can do that with all wringers? Fun wash Drama lol . YAY for power rinsing! Hope someone in the group gets it! Do anyone out there have any washing techniques that you can share, like how long do you wash your whites in the machine? My aunt use to wash hers for and hour and then starts wringing. My grandma was going to buy her sister and automatic, and in a country accent she said (NO lucille honey they dont get your clothes clean) when she passed away she had two wringers four tubs in the basement one was a speed qween with a metal agitator & a round tube maytag with a red gyrator the fisrt red one i ever seen. Hey, I bid...

Wel, since it's just around the corner from me I bid on it. This would be my first collectible, not sure how hight to go. It would be interesting to have, and perhaps barter down the line to get my "dream" machine. At the moment I'm outbid, not sure what it's worth - any comments?

To be honest I was a bit upset about the sellers comment at the bottom of the listing. I may consider reporting him to eBay after the auction is done.

What comment? The one about $1.50?

I'd wait until the last seconds and pull a quick snipe for what your take it or leave it price. Keeping in mind you have such a short distance to pick up the item, shipping will be inexpensive, no?

It is nice to jump in with a vintage machine that comes "ready made" and good to go. Agian as you say, it can always be moved on later if you find it doesn't suit, but at least you have a new toy to play with.

Just my two cents.

L.

The guy was serious...

The Norge was pulled from eBay as "no longer available." That has happened to me once before on eBay and once is enough.

I got a vibe when he posted he wasn't gong to sell for $1.50. But in his listing he stated he'd start at $.99 and see what happened. The bids did go up but I guess not enough. I will be making a complaint against him to eBay. I've bought enough stuff there to know an honest seller, I doubt he's one. Hey, maybe someone here called and twisted his arm - I'll be on the lookout for someone posting about their new Norge. ;)

BTW, I did have a snipe put in....
