Hated tbem!!!!

The main problem was the lack of a self cleaning lint filter. The machines I had would get a lint build up in the recirculating spray tube that comes up the rear part of the outer tub ad recirculates the wash and rinse water on to the load. Then the spray tube ,from the severity of unbalanced loads,comes off.of it's support causing it to need a new pump/tube assembly.. Fun to watch but not worth the headaches. Why the Hell no one has reintroduced the pulsating,up and down agitation type washers is beyond my own comprehension after all the decades they were around and ,surprisingly how reliable they were. There's always proof in.the pudding and even a broken clock.is right twice a day. However, most of the repair records,if they could all be recorded and specified, stem from customers abusing,neglecting and overloads. Not from design flaws.

Just curious, Chuck...how did you decide to buy at least three or maybe two more after not really liking them for the lack of that self-cleaning lint filter? Were they strong performers otherwise that you just endured the lack of the filter?

Aren't most washers a compromise anyways, I mean - what is perfect to some is not to others? Not to get off on the philosophical, but ...I'm curious why you owned so many of these despite your criticisms of them? Thanks. You sure have owned a slew of machines.

I'd had no issues with the filtering, or lack thereof, on my Calypso for the 7+ years that I've been using it as my daily driver.

I have had one for maybe 5 years(?) now and have no issues with it at all.  Yeah so there is some lint build up at the r<strong style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">ecirculation spray outlet, BFD!   Wipe your finger across it to remove that build up lint, it's that simple.    I have NEVER had an issue with any out of balance loads.</span></strong>

theres minimal to no friction against the clothing, so not really a need for a lint filter.....but yeah, the most you will find is string lint at the waterfall spout...

funny how the brochures mentioned of a force filter, but no such part exist for a parts search.......just a gimmick to satisfy customers.....

the dryers are already a standard Whirlpool design for wrinkle free results.....but I have three washers, one a Kenmore......a very easy to use machine versus those cabrios...
