I LOVE that!!!
I dare say that's my dream fridge, and I'm fine with white on white.
I wonder if the ice maker still works.
I'd not hesitate to pay full asking price if that fridge were in my neck of the woods.

I don't need that fridge. My '57 Combination is doing fine. The appliance cosmos would have to be so precisely aligned as to leave me no choice in the matter.
That's not to say I haven't been preparing. The remodel of the bathroom adjacent to the counter depth Combination will ultimately provide more wall space for a deeper fridge.

Great GE Refrigerator
This can be one of the best classic refs from the 60s that is FF and can actually be an every-day driver.
This ref had hot gas defrost which is much more durable that resistance defrost systems. And a real dual thermostat control system so you do not end up with a freezer that is too warm or frozen lettuce like many other brands from the 1960s.
The Ice Maker on this model is actually just an auto-fill ice tray, which for many users is far better than a completely automatic IM because it allows you to better control the amount of ice on hand so you do not end with a bin full of stale ice.

No way those kind of metal swing-out shelves could be built & expect to work in today's plastic-junk/aluminum-crap world!

Some nice GE units have been popping up on CL here too. This one caught my eye, though I like the bottom freezer much better.
