Nice GE stove and refrigerator

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Would these two beauties be from around 1960?

Looks like the fridge is a non-Frost Guard model, but even though it has the styling and spinning shelves of the '57, the cabinet liner is white so I'm guessing it's later than that, and that only Frost-Guard models got swing-out shelves.

I would have loved to have one of these not so long ago, but now that it's just me in the house I really can't justify the need for anything that large.  The $15 '52 Kelvinator is serving my purposes well enough, although my FWB sometimes doesn't give the door enough of a push to make it latch.   I've appropriated his "In the future . . ." advisory about making sure the door is completely closed, but there's already been one slip-up since.

As the range has a round clock, it is a '57 or '58 model.

The fridge has the continuous edge mounted handle. My former neighbors across the street had one like this, as did the church kitchen. The church built a large addition in '59, and included the kitchen. Don't know if the fridge was a '59 model or not. A family of longtime church members owned the local GE dealer, and donated much of the kitchen. It may have been a leftover '58.

Thanks for the info, guys.  The continuous edge mounted pull was exclusive to 1957, I thought, but maybe only for top-mount models.  It could have been carried over into later model years for bottom-mount models, and that would make aesthetic sense to me.  Additionally, the white liner seems to indicate a distancing from the pastel interiors GE was using for a good portion of the '50s.  I do think it serves to make the fridge look younger than it actually is, and maybe more acceptable to wives of men who like vintage appliances.

Wow what a cool set, it is so hard to find a matched colored set, let alone in the rare woodtone! The listing on facebook says it has been sold, I hope they are enjoyed by their new owner!
