What can the experts tell me about this model?  It appears to be the next generation 806.  Does that make it a 712?  I've texted the seller but haven't heard back.  More pix in the ad.

While Not an expert....

....but having previously purchased that exact model new, with daily usage of 5-10 extra large loads for 14 years (in home caregiving business and yes I'm a water hog), not realizing at the time it's true value, I replaced it with a DD Kenmore, before my "enlightenment" reading AW. Now I realize that it could have been repaired (transmission began leaking oil, repair tech said it wasn't worth putting the money into it) but now wish I had.

If selected, soak cycle moves directly into the main wash cycle, which was our primary usage due to soiled laundry. Always great results!

Well worth the asking price IMO! An amazing machine!

Best of wishes!

Still no reply, and there seems to be a good reason (keep reading).  The ad is still up, although that may not mean anything.

Yesterday I texted.  Today I called, and got some jive-ass guy I could barely understand who told me it's not her phone number anymore.  I guess I'll shoot her an e-mail and keep fingers crossed.  This may involve too much BS to be worth pursuing.

Maybe her phone was stolen.  Maybe it wasn't, but there's really no washer for sale anyway.

I flagged the ad.  If this is for real, she'll re-post with viable contact information.

Maybe CL should start charging so flakes wouldn't be so quick to make bogus postings.  This sort of thing never happened when paying by the line for a classified ad in the newspaper was the only game in town.

They both appear to be TOL of their time. A712. The one we have is a A613. In the very late 80's my understanding is/was "13" represented the beginning of the Orbital transmission. There was briefly a 713 but as i remember in1990 Maytag changed the look/design of the control panel.
