This is a very nice early 60s range.
The knobs are pre 65. My 65 has the knobs on a slanted top panel with oval windows at the front where a red indicator shows the amount of heat. The knobs go from high down through 9, 8, 7 etc to low. Unlike most controls where Medium High is right after high and is like about 50% input, on these controls, Medium High is clear down at about 5. I guess the red indicator would help keep you from burning up something you were frying. Westinghouse called it 1001 heats and it actually is continuously variable from 100% heat input down to about 10% or a little less, but how valuable all of that area is between high and maybe 6 or 7 with the high wattage of the units (2600 & 1600) is questionable, sort of like my induction units where, after water boils, you can reduce the energy input under a pan of pasta by half and still have a hard boil.
