haier combo
looks like a fancy late model one with that large LCD panel-from what i have read
online, heater and blower motor problems are common with these haier combos...
Only haier product i have is a mini fridge bought in mint shape from a pawn shop
for $75(needed a bigger one out in the garage when company was over for a 3 wk
stay)fridge actually has worked like it is supposed to,but it's a cheapie alright
-not even an interior light..

For not a lot of money, they could find a 115 volt porta dryer that would be able to be anchored on top of the haier since it still works as a washer. Someone here did that to eliminate the 4 to 5 hour wash and dry times. Maybe they don't have room to do that, but it is an option (and another appliance!)
