Now, isn't that a fun machine! You can customize your wash cycle as you want. Wash time as long as you want, as many rinses as you want and spin whenever you want them. I guess you can perhaps even do a spray rinse by turning on the tap during the spin?
I was wondering how exact the thermometer is. What does it measure? Just under it?

Another fabulous washer Bert, all the control you need - and more. How long does the heater take to heat the water from COLD to VERY HOT ?
What is the spin speed? Love the chrome and blue detail, very 60`s.

the speed spin is very low: 300 rpr, and the owner's manual says that a 6 min spin is well.
It takes about 10 min to heat from cold to warm (30°C), 30 min from cold to hot (60°C) and 45 min from cold to very hot (90°C).
You can do a spray rinse during the spin but the French don't know that! Unfortunately!
"L" button is "wash" (lavage) for wash and rinse
"V" button is "drain" (vidange)
"E" button is "spin" (essorage) for drain and spin
"Remplissage" (water level) is "fill" (level for wash
"Rinçage" is level for rinse
the button near the water level is for heating (M "marche" (on) et A "arrêt" (off))

Such A Wonderful Machine
A small domestic version of washers long used in France and other European commercial laundries. Obviously the appeal for Madame to hang around and supervise as opposed to "set and forget" would have weighed in the decision to purchase.

I love this machine too! Totally hands on, control all aspects of the wash. I think it appeals to those of us with a soft spot for wringer washers.
