I thought I would start a thread with the Norge D&M Dishwashers these are different than the other posting models!

The top models, 1880A and 1881A, came with a stainless steel interior... nice...
The small text is too small for me to make out - is there any indication of a date on any of these pieces?

The last 4 pictures can be enlarged a bit - I think they are from the late 60's

Norge DWs Built By D&M
I don't think there was ever a SS interior in a D&M DW, some one will have to show me one.
I think its a typo, they might have meant a SS macerator blade in the pump.

The description text for DWF1880A portable says "A gleaming stainless steel interior surrounds a multitude of special features to make dishwashing a cheer instead of a chore."
Undercounter DWU1881A "Deluxe features include stainless steel interior, wetting agent dispenser and forced air circulation."
Portable and undercounter 1860A and 1861A both say "Has all the superior features of the [1880A / 1881A model] but has a self-cleaning porcelain interior that's resistant to discoloration and spots."

I am going to bet they never built it or if they did it was not a D&M machine.
If D&M had tooled up to build a SS DW Tank and door liner it would have showed up in Lady Kenmore's and other DWs they built, Norge DWs were never built in any quantity.
Even this brochure does not have a picture of a SS tank, it might have been something they though they might make.

This had to be in the 70s

Fedders bought Norge in 1969 if I remember correctly.
