Arthur I remember that now. Don't have those WB's anymore.

Jaune: I've always wondered if there was ever any attempt to create a gas automatic washer. I guess it wouldn't have been easy without incorporating a lot of the features of a car engine/transmission on a smaller scale. Imagine if the washer was powered by a small gas engine what noise that sucker would make!

We had a World Book set with this machine in it, copyright date was '76 or so. That page was tattered and worn...

I still have my 1965 large print WB set. and yup, I looked at the washer page a lot. Complete with Norge picture.
