Yes it’s a Norge built Montgomery Wards set from around 1980. Good thing they are far away or I would have them already. Lol

I wonder how good of shape they are. I kinda want to go get them and make sure they go to a good rescue home. Do they have the white Norge agitator ?

Yes they look to be in great shape and the washer would have the “burpolator” agitator with the filter pan. The dryer is the huge Herrin design with the positive airflow from the large fan behind the drum.

Why cannot someone post pictures for those who refuse to belong to facebook.
At 40+ years old, it's safe to say that neither machine -- the washer in particular -- has seen much use at all. Great score for someone who loves fixing washers.
And what is up with FBM? I happened to scroll a bit into "Today's Picks" and it was littered with ads in Spanish for latina hookers shaped like Jane Russell.

Chris, thank you so very much for the close-up pics of the washer. This looks to be in terrific condition. These were probably 3rd from the TOL model. If you are able to, I'd love to see the same close-up photos for the dryer!! Bob
