We could not keep towels until mom started buying high priced ones but even then it would shred them. I always wondering if there was something wrong with ours.
Typical Norge marking its territory. I knew and got to play with 2 Norges. One from the 70's and the other from the mid 80's...both were 1 speed machines. From both owners, all towels were shredded, cuffs of pants were shredded, button up dress shirts looks like they went went through a war. The earlier Norges that had the fat round agitator fins probably washed nicely without destroying fabrics (and they rinsed much better, too) but when they went that thin reverse arc agitator design (late 60's?)...total destruction was eminent.
Bullet proof reliability
