funny ad.

Norge washer and dryer combo from the late 60-ies.
Literally just out of the box: it is probably in working condition but I never tested it.
I got it from a thrift store and kept it for its design and beauty as a decorational item.
Lack of space plus the inconvenience of getting my bunny rabbit out from under it makes me let it go.
Its weight compared to a present day washing machine is like a 1968 Lincoln Continental's to some plastic Toyota's.
If you are not at least 3 superstrong Men I won't let you touch it, because all you will do is tear up my floor, knock out my door frame, smash the beutiful appliance and die when it will fall on you.
I am quite flexible on the price - as long as you offer more than what I am asking for :)
I prefer texts.

Yes, it did spin, but at the usual limited spin speed of the early, non-Bendix combos, somewhere around 200-225 rpm. In spite of that, it was a fast combo because Norge put a huge fan in it. Go to the Imperial Forum and type Norge Combo in the search window and read more about this machine from when we bought the first one.

Year

Of course, I don't really know for sure. But judging by the knobs on this machine, I would say it was of '59 vintage. The old bol machines I had from '59 had the same kind of knobs. I think that '59 was the first year that norge quit using the "time line" dial too. Beautiful machine.
