Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

That's as bad as the Craigslist people trying to sell 10YO refrigerators, "that look fantastic", but need a compressor, for $75.00 or more, or Maytag Neptunes with bad bearings and seals for the same price or more, "for the handyperson, an easy fix!"

Hums low hums high

The blades are seized which happens for sure when exposed to the high heat of dishwashers and sometimes just happens. New set of blades and it will be good as new.

There is a Gambles "Coronado" wringer washer for sale about 20 miles north of Wausau, and the guy wants $300-400 because it's supposedly unused. I offered him $50, without even looking at it, and I was turned down cold. I flat out told him that he must not want to sell it vey badly, and to give me a call when he was more realistic in his asking price. I hate when people get this "rare antique" mentality.

The "hummer" Oster blender-Something you can try before replacing the blades-put some water in the jar and let it soak for several min to overnight-than try to turn the blade coupler BY HAND first. That often loosens up an old blade. If not-then get the replacement. At this point will not buy from Craigslist or EBay-too many folks out there trying to rook you.Would like to see and handle the item first-and see if the seller can demo it for you.
