Nothing better for dinner on a 5 degree winter's night-

than a chicken fresh off the rotisserie in my Frigidaire CI.

Paired it with mashed potatoes, steamed fresh beet greens, the beets didn't get done in time, and a large tossed salad.

I love rotisserie chicken!  I cut peeled potatoes lengthwise into wedges and season with salt, pepper and oregano, toss in a bowl with a little olive oil, then arrange them on the drip tray when I spin a bird on my GE Rotisserie-Broiler.

 

Even though we haven't had any rain for over a month and the drought conditions continue, I'll take the record high temp of 81 we hit this weekend over 5 above any day.

When I was a child my Mom called Rotisserie chicken "Dizzy Chicken"Loved it as a kid!She had a large Kenmore countertop cooker.

60 some years and it still works,though at this point it only gets light use. Does make the house smell good as it does the chicken.
