I got one of these from W.T.Grant when I was a teenager!I'd take it with me when I'd go to Baltimore Gas & Electric Company's warehouse.They had yard where they'd put the appliances brought there from customer's homes that were replaced by new ones.I'd turn on either WCAO 60AM or WCBM 68AM and listen to top 40 hits while looking through up to 80 pieces and taking off agitators,knobs,dials and nameplates.If I'd get there early enough,the drivers of the delivery trucks that were dumping off these gems would take them to my house.Sometimes there'd be a "fee"I won't be too precise of what that fee was but all I'll say is it sattisfied both parties.That is the driver and myself.

WCBM 680-Repaired one of their cool RCA BC10U transmitters-you probably heard it over that receiver-was a neat site!Now its gone and replaced with a new site I haven't seen.also their old site had the piles of "oldies" records and tapes after they switched to news-talk format.
