Now that the be-all, end-all penultimate classic washer has been found, along with several others this year already by other members of this venerable meeting space, what is YOUR ULTIMATE HOLY GRAIL FAVORITE WASHER TO BE FOUND?

Please indicate your ONE top choice:

Mine is the 1968-69 Frigidaire Custom Imperial variable speed "High Fashion" cabinet washer (and dryer).

A Servis with "snap-on tools for more vigorous action"?
Ohhhh baby! Is that why the ad shows that lady waiting anxiously for the "repairman"?

Seriously----would love to see one of those gadgets----got a photo?

Best,
Steve

no space yet, but when I have it...

A matched Maytag 806 set
A Frigidaire 1-18... well any GM frigidaire would be great
and maybe a belt drive black panel Kenmore

I am happy that I finally found a Thor Automagic but sure would not mind another solid tub such as Norge Timeline or Speed Queen with stainless steel solid tubs.

kelvinator - magic minute

Same here - I think a Kelvinator or an abc-0-matic even would be fun....for me....or a launder-all....and I've never actually owned a unimatic, either...which would also probably please me...

I'd like something like a delorean washer...was there ever one with a stainless steel cabinet?

The thing is here...I'm trying to think of one I'd like to have that I HAVEN'T seen yet~

Fun thread.

I'd like to have one of those GM Frigidaire portable dishwashers that opens up like a gull wing, from the late 60's, I think, and starts with the turn of a knob not unlike turning the key to start your car!~

Also...I always loved the 1955 GE fridge I grew up with - freezer on the bottom, rotating shelves in the fresh food. Two tone cabinet and interior. Lots of lights. I'd like to find another one, though I never saw another in my entire lifetime - so far.
