I work for the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations - specifically in Adult Literacy Policy....

 

I've just sent the link to our Branch Manager, my Director and a couple of others who may find it both useful and inspirational given the 2006 Adult Literacy Life Skills Survey shows about 46% of working age Australians don't have suffient literacy to cope with the demands of everyday life....

 

....in the US, the percentage is, unfortunately, higher....
