Few of us tried to build up the dreams'machine... here you are mine! in the first real complete wash cycle videos I recently uploaded

Wow..Rondella Super Automatica!!!

Well diomede, you must be so proud and excited to have completed your project....we need information, what are the three buttons on the top for, does it have a variable spin, do you set the programmes by numbers?? and how many temperature settings?? I love the choice of colour for the light!!

Rondella is a washer... yet it doesn't wash at all

It is that small "ring" used to block screws.
"(macchina) lavatrice" is "washer" intended as "washing machine"

Languages sometimes are "naughty", i.e. the german "geschirrspueler" literally means dishrinser . Indeed Germans wash up their dishes, cause "spuelen" means "to rinse" and "to wash up" too

Now a joke : how many washers there are in a washer ? *LOL*

Oh no... that was the "original" extedable warranty of the machine like built up originally in the 2001... imagine that the previous owners gave it away the same last june!!! The problem was the hidden filter tap (lowest front edge), was full and the machine didn't drain. So 2001... the machine would be under warranty for....one yar only?!?!!? I hope some more

Here you are.

Yo can configure 8 cycle just like you want... they would be like 8 free position which you could match with a completely cycle.
1-2 for whites
3-4 for coloures
5-6 for syntethics
7 delicates
8 rinse olny
But if don't need syntethics cycle here you are 2 program free to configure.
You can choice the level of water depending on the pressure switch you'll use, so 1-2-3 water level to be independently used for each program phase. Then you can manage the temperatures, the time-cycle (for each phase, like prewash mainwash rinses and spins), and 3 inlet valves, cold-hot-treatement(conditioner/bleach).
Once you have "build up" your cycle you just have to match it with the corresponding button... and here you are the one-touch-machine done!

The temperatures you just to write it! You can use 4 temperatures settings but if you want to wash at 17°C just write 17 on the box (the sw has an FDB interface) and the program using that temperature will wash at 17°C
Actually I set 27-37-52-67°C

The onboard PLC can be programmed by a sw on you PC then dowload via cable the information PC-->PLC

On left you find (apart from the three blakc fuses on top ) a red and a green pushbuttons, the first is to rise up the temperature reducing the time (+15°C / -10min) the second is to decrease the temperature and rise up the time (-10°C / +10min)... I dont' remeber exactly the parameters but they'r circa like that.

The knobs is the "soaking time", in each program with a previous prewash you can select two type of soaking:
- timed soaking, the machine after the time restart automatically the wash cycle (4-6-8-12h)
- manually soaking, the machine restart once you have shutted of the knob.
This is to make you able to use more effective the soap like pretreaters instead of bleaching!

Actually you cannot have variable spin (the machine didn't this before)... but the PLC can be configure also with the possibility of manage a variable spin.

Well, I am disappointed that the guarantee is not as good as I thought initially (LOL), but the programming of the machine is interesting. I am intrigued by the temperatures you have chosen: 27-37-52-67°C. Is there a special reason for this? (Temperatures ending on 7 seem to work better than other temperatures)

Well, I initially set the machine to wash with cold-30-40-60, then with the option Super there will be the 75.
Honestly I suppose that detergent might have benn developed but the dirt still is the same so whenever you could reach a good result with "cold-detergent" ther's still the greasy component of the dirty which will be removed better with a bit of warm so the cold is still used in some prewash but the lower mainwash temp is not 30 but 27.

Then 37 was a temperature used in some Candy machine of 60s here assuming that the human body temperature would have been the right set to wash coloured and delicate fabrics.

52 is 3 less than 55 a most common used temperature of dishwashers in past, so if it had been good for dishes why not for whites!?

"Pastorizzazione" is the term which indicates the treatement of the milk to be bacteria free performed at 67°C.

Some temperatures have been choose with a criteria someothers not, but there's also the inlet temperature factor to be considered too, to avoid i.e. to warm up the water when non necessary for few degrees.
