"Nurses are the most sexually fantasized-about profession"

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

While I sympathize with over-worked, underpaid, and undapperciated nurses, I think the controversy over this restaurant is more a matter of a bored bureaucracy in search of victims to oppress.

I saw the diner on TV a few weeks back, also, and from the description of some of the dishes, they are not what I'd like to try consuming entire. A burger that is too tall to fit into one's mouth isn't just overkill, it's impractical. I like a good occasional bacon cheeseburger, and there are worse foods out there (like trans fat laden pastries or high fructose soft drinks) that people eat every day.

The Tragic Nurse!

Love the picture, Marty! I have a friend who is a nurse, and she will get a good laugh out of that one! (actually, it looks a lot like her on a Saturday night :-)

Speaking of high fructose corn syrup: That stuff scares the hell out of me. I think it's the reason why so many people are diabetic. The good Lord never intended for sweetener to be transported in railroad tanker cars.

but trouble is, I love me my Pepsi. I have written to both Pepsi and Coke suggesting that they develop a "classic" formula that uses sugar, like they used to. I'd pay extra for that, as I'm sure a lot of other people would, but they of course aren't interested.

lol. and a very flattering angle of the as... backside. Veg will love this. first the Longaberger now this. though, at first glance, i thought you were wearing a WOMANS nurse outfit. be prepared... i mean carefull, so vulnerable, you might get taken advantage of, Marty!

Dan

I just got off my diet of Diet Coke as a water substitute! I lost 7 pounds in water bloat alone! Here i thought i was okay drinking diet soda but never realizing how much sodium was in it! Go figure! I drink more water now and i started to buy this carbonated flavored water that is sweetened with Splenda. I drink just one a day usually during lunch. It's just like soda but with no calories, no sodium, no caffiene, no nothing. I know sounds too good to be true. It's called Cascadia. Of course now that i'm off the diet coke, i find myself drinking more coffee! Oh well.

David!

It's my "Love Boat" uniform and yes i did wear this little number on duty! Only in Palm Springs baby!

I can just imagine what Veg is going to come up with for this one LOL!

western australian firefighters

Here is the link to them. Don't enter "www." or you will go to something else.
I have never heard a PC fascist raise their voice about them - it seems to me like Americans are always busy finding things to be upset or miserable about.
Every time I come back to Germany and walk down the street I think, gosh - folks are so much more relaxed here. Over there on the park bench, a mother is feeding her baby...directly from the source. In front of me, two young men are walking hand in hand and over there a woman of 70 or so is walking past an advertising poster showing a young woman wearing pearls and nothing else (I should think the pretty young thing would be cold at this time of year, but what do I know?)

I, for one, did not feel the slightest bit outraged at Eluxomarty's pictures. Can he post a few more, each time wearing one piece less of uniform so I can determine where my European sensitivities (finally) kick in and I feel he is offending nursing?

Fantasy and parody can be found in just about every profession. Nurses, firefighters, life guards, police, doctors, contruction workers, maids, nuns, priests, monks, pizza delivery, swimming pool maintenance, Elvis Pressley, computer geeks...

lol wow didnt think everyone would really flip on this one but im glad you all made me laugh and we can all pretty much agree we didnt find this offensive if only those damn closed minded politians would just see how we really feel they just might join in on the laughter! and as for those pics hahaha wow im still laughing! lolx1,000,000,000

Firefighters as Waiters

Mike, I like your idea of the firefighters theme, but no doubt about it for me, I'd want them OUT of uniform! Seems to me that a place like Vegas could pull something like this off and make it work. Heck, in Vegas instead of taking just a doggie bag home, you could probably take the waiter along with it!

Mr. Langdon, I don't know about Seattle, but in the Bay Area and LA you can buy Mexican Coke that's still made with sugar. I've seen it at Beverages & More if you have that store in your area. You can spot the bottles because they're all returnables and pretty beat up. And it costs more. But it's got the real deal in it. Also read recently that Coke is trying to stop the importing of this product from Mexico because people here prefer it to their supposed "classic" recipe that's sold in the states.

i mean carefull so vulnerable, you might get taken advantage

Well hear this:

No matter what allegedly happens, any time a judge hears that the "victim" was shouting "Ai papi fuego, da me fuego. Da me lo. Da me lo mas fuerte, toca lo." You can pretty much rule out a conviction.

(Ducks and runs)

Besame, besame mucho......

I'm such a

bad Mexican! I don't even know spanish! Toggles, that WAS spanish wasn't it? Or should i even guess what that was? smiling, Marty

And not a drop of red wine on the rug

How exquisitely hygenic and what a perfect nurse.

Linus Pauling, two time Nobel laureate, always said that corn syrup was an acceptable sweetener. I guess he was wrong, but I do not know why. Does anyone know why high fructose corn syrup is so bad?

I DO know the horror of trans fats and I worry when I see so many our beautiful brothers making their delicious cakes with margarine, but then I think--oh what the heck! It can't hurt them unless the eat the whole cake, AND WHO AMONG US CAN EAT A WHOLE CAKE !!!???

Gram was right: butter and lard are good; margarine and Crisco are bad.
