My dial-up is slow to search so not sure of other posts. Seen this Nuvo water softener a few times in ad's and wondered if its all they say in ad's? Pro's and Con's and is it worth it? Tx, Bill

Basically it works like a standard ion exchange softener.
Uses citric acid crystals instead. Cartridges are expensive, and the installation kit is ridiculous pricy for a few pipe fittings. Only advantage I can see is that you don't have to haul salt. Just buy expensive cartridges that don't last as long as they say.
