I got the bLowes ad in "The Maui News" yesterday and I noticed something- The dryer that they have mated with the new Whirlpool Cabrio is a top-filter (29" platform) but the Kenmore Oasis dryer is the 27" machine with the filter just below the door.
Personally I like the top filter design for reliability and ease of service. The Sears people would argue that the back to front airflow in the 27" machine is more efficient than the "Horseshoe" airflow in the 29" dryer. The top filter is a bit messy though-leaving lint over the top of the machine. That would not bother me as much anymore, as geckos poop allover the top of my dryer anyway. The whirlpool machine looks like it is frowning : (
Whats up with the claimed "Turbo drying system"? Is it something really new and special or is it marketingspeak for "the dryer has a fan"?
