I was watching Rizzoli and Isles last night and saw an odd looking mixer in the kitchen of a murder victim.  It was very reminiscent of a KA but was maybe 25-30% wider with no power take off port on the front, and a little flatter.  It was yellow-ish with a stainless bowl.  Also there was some trim detail that made a little upturn sweep vaguely reminded me of a smile.

I dumped the recording so I can't give any more details than that, but does it sound familiar to anyone?

Since Directv blocks screen caps with their Directv to PC software that lets you stream content from your HR2x series to your computer I had to resort to a poor quality picture with my phone. I think it's good enough to identify the mystery mixer, I've never seen one of these before what ever it is...

Mixer is Hamilton Beach,

Stove is an O'Keefe and Merrit (sp?). I have no clue as to the refrigerator, except that it is not a Frigidaire.

interesting, had no idea it was a current model.  Most of the stuff in the kitchen was old, thought it was too.  Thanks!

BTW- who makes it?  Isn't Hamilton-Beach long defunct?

Matt I think it was also sold as a GE mixer as well.. and there are two versions.. the all plastic body version sells as WalMart pretty cheap and there's an all metal version as well. I bought one a few years ago for dough making but its performance was sub par,, it was the plastic one though.. maybe the metal one is better.

thanks Pat. I figured that as so close to the Hotpoint emblem from back then, if it wasn't it was a close facsimile molded into the door.
