odd things you've accidentally washed

Laundromat-- I remember a friend in college whose bag went through the washer. Boy, was he upset! Ah, the good old days. I'm so straight-edge in my middle age...

Not as interesting as accidentally washing a bat (the kind that flies), but my a credit card and my bank debit card went through the wash last night. Both still work. I was worried the strip on the back would have been damaged/demagnetized.
 
never use cheap camp ground laundries

when me and a bunch of friends went on our schools out trip we were looking for the cheapest place to pitch a tent that had amenities, so we checked in at some hick campsite that had clean enough looking toilets etc. It also had a laundry that had Maytag coin ops. On our second day there my friend decided to wash some jeans and without looking she just threw them in a dryer, to not waste money we all did our laundry as well and put it in one dryer load, noone noticed the small puddle of liquid that was in the bottom. Well later on in the day we wandered back to it and were disgusted to find our clothes STANK or urine. Seems some young pothead had decided to leak in a dryer and leave it overnight. Of course we were all too tired and groggy to notice it . I ALWAYS check campsite dryers now, even my own home dryer sometimes (the people we have round can get quite rowdy sometimes lol)

well being that this is australia there are no wild raccoons, could have been a blue tounge lizard that needed to go real bad! No we knew the guy who did it, he didn't remember a thing, too wasted lol. We drive into the nearest town and found i nice clean laundromat with Neptunes, the woman behind the counter was so excited to see 15 students eager to do laundry, probably the highest amount of customers she had ever had!
 
My cousin put his payroll check in his pants pocket and forgot about it. My aunt had a hard and fast rule, anything left in pockets was her's. They lived on a farm, and when he got home he changed clothes and was going to go to town. Well, he was halfway to town when he realized that he forgot his check. He turned around and when he got home my aunt was starting to do laundry and she was just about to grab his pants. He never put his paycheck in his pants pocket again needless to say.
 
Odd Things Washed

Maybe not all that odd but very sad. I washed my favorite Vintage Mont Blanc pen. It was a very sad day in my house. I found it in pieces in the boot when I opened the door. I'm not sure how it ended up there.
 
I think this is rather odd.. I washed my XD Picture card last week.. How could I leave it in there? I was consciously aware of the thing too and still forgot.. No matter.. I always did like watercolor portraits..

Other things would be the usual: Chapstick, screws, bolts, money, and my favorite I think: THe celly phone..
