Hi everyone,
I have been using my 30” Flair stove as a daily driver so it was inevitable that I would lose my front large burner. I really would like to have a NOS replacement rather than a used element so I don’t have to repeat this process again for a while. We have searched eBay and other online sources, but haven’t found a 7526852 unless it was used. Can anyone help?

on Facebook

I believe he has both new and used surface units.
If you don't have facebook, then send me your email and I'll forward your request to him.

I’m a bit confused. Is the facebook link yours, or the person that has the stove burners. We sent a request to the facebook link and haven’t heard anything. I see the name Steve on the facebook link as well.

id like to help. Just in case Steve doesn't have your part.
I may have this in my shop. Since my father in law passed Ive taken over selling his oven and stove parts. He was the oven repairman for the city. lots of parts for electric ovens and stoves from the 40's up to the 80's .
I just came across New Old stock of surface elements for frigidaire. I have 6" and 8" (technically 7.5) tube style. I will check in the morning to see if I have this. I was just about to list some on eBay an it got a little late.
my name is Carol. Im learning all about GE, Flair, Westinghouse, hotpoint...as well.
I have a bunch of parts to go through yet. nothing is organized , but Im having a great time with it.
I'll post tomorrow.

Two versus three wire monitor tube elements

This three wire element will work just fine on a flare. You just hook one lead to the common connection and tie the other two together and hook it to the other lead.

You cannot, however, use a two wire element to replace a three wire element without putting an infinite switch in place of the original five position switch.

It's of course nice to put in a new part if you can find a good OEM part like this however, a good used element for your flare range would last a very long time these elements usually last the life of the range if they're not abused.

When you're using an element on this type of stove, it should never turn red hot when you're cooking on high heat if you're allowing much of the element to be red hot, you're abusing the element and greatly shortening its life you should get cookware that is flat and stays in good contact with the element if more than a third of the element is glowing red hot reduce the heat setting until you do not see any red any longer. This will keep the elements from being destroyed.
