Ok, I guess I can get a few old machines, so here's what i may be lookin for:

I am going to move stuff around in dads basement and make room for 2 old washers and dryers. Although, most know that you can't just stop at two. Also I am going to give away or sell the Roper we broke, for a Pre 1985 Mayatg TL, Ge TL or Kenmore/Wpool BeltDrive for him to use.

What i really really want:
1970ish-1975ish (simialr to the set i saw with the nacked little boy on here)GE washer/Dryer set, either TOL or as close as i can get..
1985 and eairler TOL Belt Drive Lady Kenmore washer/dryer.. Would prefer the mechaincal control units over the electronic controls
Mid to Late 70's Westinghouse Front Loader

I have a BD Lady Kenmore 90 series,in almond,with dispenser,I would part with. Might need a pump,didn't want to drain. Shipping from Indiana to the Carolina's might be a problem......
I also get GE sets in all the time,most of them mid 70's or newer.Like this set in Harvest Gold.

If I had the space I would get that Limited Edition, I think it was limited because it was the last of the belt driven washers in 1986. We almost bought a set but my mother just bought a lower priced washer, and I wanted the LE. Anyway, even if the electronic board goes bad it may be possible to place a control panel from another Kenmore on top and create a platinum "Frankenmore".

Good luck finding a 70s Westinghouse, they were Rustinghouse and most of them are rust particles in landfills by now.

I would take you up on your offer Goatfarmer, but i just cannot fix things.. I have many talents, but my mechanical ablitys are none, as i wind up destroying them.. I think i found a TOL 1975 little old lady GE set (ya know a well cared for, very babyed like new set..) Has all manuals and washer was just rebuilt with new transmisson.. She is some one who's house i am selling and may not be able to take them to the retirement home.
