Just a thought.

Remember, these are old sounds. What did Robert have way back then? Is this something he no longer has, or is it still in the collection?

Kelvinator?

Dave, having recently moved.

When we talked about spinning speeds with the towel test. Robert mentioned that SQ with the beefed up /commercial pulley? just a guess, alr2903

Is it...

A 1966 Frigidaire coin-op with the Super Duty mechanism?

What do you mean one whose name and city are on in the same? ;)

I do have a question: Where did you find that one, it looks like its in pretty good shape for something that was used commercially.

That's the beauty of Frigidaire porcelain Reggie. The poor dear sat outside for over 20 years before I rescued and restored him from the South Dakota Farm. I wanted this washer because I remember them so well in some of my favorite laundromats when I was a kid.

I guess I wouldn't have imagined it beeing found outside sitting for so long. It must have taken a lot of work to restore.
