Computer Assisted Design
Thank you. It's a fairly sophisticated graphics program called "Freehand", very similar to Adobe graphics programs. With it you can make almost any shape, line or curve imaginable and apply an enormous color palette to them. There's also a 3D program called "Extreme 3D 2", but it's much more complicated and I'm still having fun representing 3D in the 2 dimension format. I am also an artist, so that helps.
If you're interested, try experimenting with either the "Windows Paint" in the "accessories" menus on your PC or MacPaint(even better) on Macs. That's how I started doing the machines before I switched over to Freehand. It's a good way to do illustrations for patents and diagrams.
