IIRC, this whole RCA, GE mixup started when, GE bought RCA's electronic division, The RCA televisions were really GE's. It was about this time that the RCA, (GE washers/dryers started showing up around 1995), When we lived in New Orleans, Campo appliance stores had the RCA washers that were definatley GE looking in appearance. This was the "black console era" they looked Cheap to me at the time. alr2903
