Looks like they re-badged the Tappan 400....were the 2 companies otherwise linked (OK&M on the West coast, Tappan on the East)?

I'm not sure about that vintage, but I've seen WCI built O & M refrigerators, that were identical to their Tappan counterparts.

When I was a child the neighbors across the street had a very similar Whirlpool gas range with the pull out burners . . . too cool!

I saw a '70s Tappan 30" range with integral microwave and hood mounted above the rangetop in the back of a pickup a few days ago. Took me a minute to catch up, but of course I wanted to be close enough to see what brand. It surely wasn't half as cool as the O & M Flair above, but I still hope it wasn't headed to the dump.
