Hello all, new member from Vacuumland here, looking for some information from the fine folks here on a possible purchase. It involves the following gas stove. My questions are, does anyone know the model and brand, as well as approximate age of this, and it also would appear a piece of trim of the like on the top is missing. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Try entering Maytag "Dutch Oven"

in the super searchalator box and see what comes up. I thought only Maytags had the burner knobs on top of the back splash.

Does look like oven vent covers are absent , I forget exactly what they look like....

I have to agree with Darrel, looks very much like a Maytag "Dutch Oven".  A very well insulated oven, it's insulated with rock wool.

Globe Range Corp made them and they were avail with and without the Dutch Oven feature. This one looks like it is not the DO because it lacks the little flip lever for the damper that closed the oven vent when the timer reached zero. Without the DO feature, the oven sure will preheat faster. You might try the Old Road Home website for possible parts availability. There are other places that restore old gas stoves, but I don't know the name of them. I am no expert on old gas ranges, but those burner grates look awfully lightweight for a Maytag. Before you buy the stove, make sure they sit level. The design of those grates is inherently dangerous, just like the round ones on Western Holly ranges because if you tip a pan up to one side like to spoon up broth, the round, unanchored grate can fly out from under the pan. In adition to having a hot grate landing on you or somewhere in your kitchen, you can also have a spill of something hot. Be careful.
