This one looks a bit more refined, with the belts in a housing.
Look how they run the electric line across the front of the machine---like it was an afterthought.
Wonder if this is a 50# machine---hard to judge size from this angle----maybe a 100#er?

Enjoying the pics, those machines look like they have seen a few good "WashDays"...Can you imagine the steam and aroma rising from all those machines !!!
I found a similar type of washer all the way up a big mountain in Mallorca last year...went to visit the Monastary at Lluc and they had an "Art Garden" one of the monks took all the junk they couldnt dispose of and used it to create "Art in the garden" my partner groaned when he saw it and said, " we cant even come away on holiday without stumbling into a vintage washer"...lol...
FATE I said!!! Fancy, a pilgrimage to the "Shrine of the Holy Washers"...FAB
