A very popular Kenmore.....
That is indeed as James says a 1973 Kenmore 60 series machine. This was a very popular model for Sears, as it had what most people wanted in a machine with a low price. The console was devised as an effort to make servicing the controls easier. Many previous models had to be pulled away from the wall to access the side or back of the panel to remove cover screws, etc. This has just two screws on the top of the control panel "hump" and the all the controls slide up and out and can be serviced from the front without moving the washer.
This machine had a straight vane agitator. There was a 1975 variant that was almost identical, however it had horizontal pattern woodgrain and a Roto-Swirl.
I sold four of these back in the 90s, and had three more in my trailer that was robbed - two white ones and an Avocado, as well as a 1975 counterpart. I don't know how difficult they'd be to sell today, but this was a great model for Sears and for re-builders/resellers years later.
