This was the exact washer that was in a townhouse I bought in 1987. It was relatively new and even working perfectly, was a marginal washer at best. The spinning was terrible. Noisy too, from the fill to the final spin.

We had that washer, with the Gibson name, when we bought our house. Noisy doesn't even start to describe it! In spin, it sounded like it was coming up the stairs!

 Found a Maytag HA806 on a trade in pile, and never looked back.....
