Older Kenmore dryer

Yep, another match-all
What aspect(s) of this machine matches other Kenmores? I've never seen a console even remotely like the one above, except for on a match-all dryer. My sister had that exact dryer for several years.
"Match All" means matches all other brands in that it matches nothing, even from Sears. It was a generic dryer. This was a good soft heat dryer with no auto dry cycle, if it is like the one our friends had, but it is OLD, like late 60s.

I always thought that name was funny. The console is so weird it doesn't match with anything, so it matches all. I guess this was a selling point because it was probably meant to be bought if someone was getting their first dryer, yet already had a washer, so wouldn't have been buying one with it.
When new neighbors moved into the house next door two years after I moved here, they had one of these dryers with full-width hamper door and had Fabric Master auto dry cycle.
There was actually an "alphabet" washer and matching dryer that was a cousin to this dryer. Whereas the dryer above, had a "box" surrounding the timer & start button that the flip door closed on to conceal, the model I'm now speaking of had a full-width rectangular "box" across the panel and a little sliding door that concealed the washer or dryer controls. A friend of mine form college that I met in spring 1974 from Houston, his mom had the washer in avocado and had the gold plastic rotoswirl agitator. I'd say this washer was from like 1969 to 1972 maybe. I bet Gordon (KenmoreGuy64) could enlighten us. I think there's been a matched set for sales somewhere in the country that was showed here several ears ago. THis particular family, when they replaced their 1962 GE built-in applianes, got the sears induction cooktop (like Jetcone has); 1st generation non rotorack Kenmore dishwasher and wall oven.
