Older machine wanted (UK) - anyone downsizing?

Hi there.

I am looking to give an older washer a good home, even lightly restore one that needs some work.

I don't mind a machine that needs some mechanical work but I would prefer one that is in good cosmetic order.

I am looking for either:

A Hotpoint timeline top loader. (prefer 15790/2)
An older hotty front loader, 18 or early 95 series.
A Hoover front loader square door, Logic, Electron etc.
A Hoover-based Electra (square door)

Or if anyone has any suggestions...

I have an estate car, so collection should not be a problem. I am based in the West Midlands, willing to travel 100 miles or so.

Is there anything out there?

A people carrier is a mini van 

 

A sedan is a saloon

Zanussi

Hello R,

I have a 1987 Zanussi EW1007 Electricity Board special 1000 spin with delay timer that I would very much like to keep but lack of space is creeping up on me, the Zanussi takes up quite a bit of my shed. It works, the bodywork is in not bad condition but the door seal has gone a bit mouldy, a little clean of it should bring it up nicely. But it works fine, apart from every now and then, the rumble that happens with old Zanussi's if they haven't been used for a while, but it dies down within five minutes of the machine being on. Oh, and it isn't a Jetsystem.

I am located in West Yorkshire so collection may be possible. I have included a photo and will put some close up photo's if you want to see them.

Thanks for replying everyone.

I discounted the Electron because I could not justify the expense, after fuel costs of getting up to Rochdale were considered, sadly. If the seller relists with a lower start price, I'd consider it.

The Zanussi looks nice but it's a bit far so no thanks - but I do appreciate the offer. IU hope that it finds a good home.

Is there anything else out there?
