I just sent the seller a note...
Warning him to get the electrical cord out from under the lid like that. It's just begging for an accident where the lid springs and the nylon hinge balls are lost. I just had to replace mine a few weeks ago, and they aren't cheap any more.

Boy, was that a timely post! I'm working on an A806 machine, and one of the things that needs doing is a replacement of the top, which is chipped. I already have a replacement top, but it would not have occurred to me to salvage the hinge balls from the chipped one. They've been dirt cheap forever, but if that has changed, I need to keep those.
