No, Louie needs a 19 or 20 series. He needs one that heats water and not a one-arm wonder.

Great machine if one has a steady supply of *hot* water
By that one means >140F
Being as that may cannot say the heater makes much of a huge difference in my Mobile Maid. Even when very hot water enters the main wash it isn't such when drained. Best the heater seems able to do is keep things from cooling down too much. This probably has much to do with the machine lacking any sort of decent insulation.

The shading on the lower panel does not match the upper panel.
It looks about 1/2" on the lower and 1 1/2" on the upper.
And this is on a TOL KA. Ugh ! Someone call the manufacturer !
I'm wondering if mine looks like that. I've got to go look....

As Bob mentioned, I am looking for a KDS-60 (portable) or a KDS-20 (Built in). Since the kitchen hot water line sometimes runs from very warm to lava, I need a built-in heater to keep things on an even keel.

Louie - what's wrong with a Monterey 21 KA or 22? Weren't those model 21's and 22's also built with heaters? Just asking- made a note again for either 60/20(P/BI).

Lou, you need....
under your sink.
Only 2.5 gallons worth, that's not a lot of space.
Plugs into a standard outlet.
Set it at what ever temp. you want. I think they even go up to 160 degrees.
If it were me, I'd put a standard timer on it, or a twist 'count down' wall box mounted timer at the counter top level.
Plumb your existing hot water line to the inlet, and put a line from the outlet to the faucet.
Then you won't be limited on vintage DW you get.
