Older suds-saver pump... I think

Found this in a box lot of parts I got from an appliance repair business that closed down recently.

My gut feeling is that it's a suds-return pump.  If so, would anyone know which brand washer it would go with? Just going on gut feeling, I think it may be a Maytag, but as you all know I am  never right...LOL

Old Electric Washer Pump

Its not Maytag, and it might be for a Canadian machine as I don't even recognize it.

 

Maybe someone will know what it is from.

looks like a German made pump that may have been installed in a Canadian made machine(the square recess Roberts screw) Looks ~late 1950s-mid'60s era.
