I have seen posts from time to time where folks have commented that they would like to have an on line recipe database where we could all contribute recipes to share with one another.

I have a recipe website that I purchased a couple of years ago and have been working on getting set up. I have it set up to the point where we could all contribute recipes and therefore search for something we'd like to try. There are some pages I have not modified yet but you can ignore those. What we are all really interested in is the recipes and that function is working.

There is a print function as well. I am willing to host this for everyone if you think it is a usable site. There is only one issue I am trying to get resolved. That is when you enter the ingredients list you use the enter key to move to a new line but when you view the recipe the lines run together. It is easy enough to figure out when you view the recipe but it's just annoying as hell.

This is using a standard .asp script against and Access database. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would appreciate the help.

Anyway, check it out. If you like it we can post our favorite recipes and hopefully try a few new ones.

David which ones?

They have been submitted, but have not been added to the site yet. I have actually sent in several more. Here is what I've submitted so far:

Tuscan Spareribs
Stromboli
Crawfish Etouffe
My family's Spaghetti and Meatball recipe
My Tropical steak marinade
My famous (from here to across the road) Tropical Grilled Shrimp (this is my "Signature" recipe, along with the steak marinade, Tuscan spareribs, and crawfish etouffe).
Chicken in Basil Cream
Colonial Wassail

This sounds like a fun idea to me. Thanks Ralph for doing this. I will have to get some recipes together to send in.

I like to make the following:
Walker House Pork with cream sauce - easy to do but looks like you have been in the kitchen forever.
Danish Potatoes
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Danish stuffing for Turkey etc.
Tuna salad in a tomato cup
Date pinwheel cookies
All good I think. So far no one as been poisoned, YET. lol
